Open the Alexa app. Select the plus and scroll to the bottom of the screen. Select Set Up Audio System. Select Home Theater. Select your compatible Fire TV device. Select up to two compatible Echo devices to use as speakers, along with an optional Echo Sub. Select left and right speakers when using two Echo devices. After doing so, my Amazon Echo devices would no longer play music from Spotify. To troubleshoot, I went in to the Amazon Alexa app and deselected Spotify as the default music service. When I did so, I saw that Spotify was grayed out as an option. I then tried to re-add Spotify in the Alexa music settings.
